I'm kind of stuck with the TKC80 front for a bit. According to the Mrs I've already spent too much on "that bloody bike" and now, after that tumble my foot was quite bruised, (I've always ridden in army boots), so I'm going to be spending "more money?!" on a pair of new boots.
I am hoping that losing a few PSI front and back will help (?).
It's funny tho, cos when I first started riding bikes back in the late 70's we didn't really think too hard about tyres and gear. I remember riding my DT175 up on the Moors in a Peter storm cagoule, wearing woolly gloves and wellies, on a pair of cheapo Cheng shin tyres and loving it. I guess I didn't know any better eh?
So anyway, I'll have to learn to ride round the shortcomings of that TKC for a few more months at least. (They MUCH better on tarmac than I expected btw)
