OK, so I e-mailed the campsite yesterday, about reserving us some space, and just got this reply (loosely translated):

Good morning David,
  It is not necessary to make the reservation or pay a deposit, in September we have space without problem.
  In any case, I confirm the reservation.
  We are in contact, a week before they come talk to us in case there is any change.

I told him that it looks as though we will be about 8 - 12 people, in vans and bikes, some sleeping in vans, some in tents. He sounds like a pretty cool guy and we should be able to form a herd

Phil aka Roastbeef messaged to tell me about the Pyrenees trip, I'm up for it if there's space. I did a couple of the HISS trips near Albaracin a few years back. End of Sept is a great time to be in the Pyrenees, so keen to join you guys up in Sort, if I can.

Well done Alun. Please check the current quality of the Estrella for us. But remember you can't tell if it's bad until you've tried at least 8 bottles.

If you want to go and have a chat with this Didac guy who runs the campsite that'd be good. Tell him we are from the 'Chastity and Sobriety Society' on a poetry and embroidery tour.

Yeah, well you can see from the campsite's reply Johnny - looks like room for everyone. I just gave him the number 8-10 people as a guide. But the more the better. Pretty much everyone interested so far has done HISS trips before, like yourself, so you know what to expect.

Stick it in the diary. Matt and I will be driving down on the Sunday (22nd Sep) and staying until Friday 27th. Think Steve is doing the same. Maybe we could form a convoy at Jax Shak about lunchtime Sunday and all go down together, 10/4 good buddy....
