Salisbury plain avoiding the mobs (II)

Post by Thedktor »

Well I had a cunning plan to avoid the crowd simply by not going out on the bike on the sunday :) But I did go out loads more, doing about a thousand miles over my 11-day break!

It wasn't all Salisbury Plain, this is Wheatham Hill:

Proper slippery chalk there oh yes.

This is actually SP, and the remains of a rainbow which faded before I could get a good picture, doh.

Didn't even fit in the frame anyway! :?

Oh well, no pot of gold for me. These cows were behaving themselves behind a fence, and I was behaving myself riding on a legal byway, proof 'n all:

A nice quiet spot:

The best ride was on New Years day, when I woke up early as usual so made the most of it and went out - no-one around for several hours, bloody brilliant! 8-) And I found a shadow:

I had a fabulous break, and almost didn't mind going back to work. Well, maybe not....
