Jurga from Lithuania was riding the Spanish TET near me (section 17) and wanted to stay at the farm (www.goodlifefarm.es) for a night, and to help her with her navigation as she had spent two days going round in circles. So Wednesday morning, I set off on the TET with her, heading south, fully expecting the odd puddle here and there after the rain on Sunday. Then this happened...
From getting stuck to being able to ride again took almost an hour.
Enjoy the video (speeded up 800%) of us trying to clear the mud from the swingarm and chain so we could get the bike out.

We had to keep clearing the clay from the swingarm and chain so we could move the bike a few metres and do it all again.

Flippin eck, that looks totally sticky!!!
I’ve done that a couple of times on the C90 one time I didn’t have anything to clear it so had to physically drag the whole bike out the field.

We had been riding for around 2 hours without any problem, and then hit that terrace and it all went Pete Tong. The girl I was riding with thought it was great, its a real adventure she kept saying, I was just worried it would delay her tight schedule, but these things happen.

Wow, I've never ridden through anything like that!
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

We're getting a good soaking at least once a week at the moment, the olive trees are loving it and it should be a great harvest, but it makes it difficult to ride in areas that are shaded from the sun and take forever to dry out.
