With the BMW welded it's time to rethink about kit and weight of same and how to distribute it so as to ensure the frame repair will continue to last.

The 'deliberate mistake' was pictured before the spares were sited elsewhere.....

Meanwhile the sprocket that has arrived for the CRF via taxi and bus from Casablanca is incorrect. Steve gets on-line to see if he can source a chain kit in Marrakech for when get there.

We'll have to limp on towards Foum Zguid the next day which will impact our next trail plans.

Next day we square the bill up and head to the next leg of our ride. We're now limping along and by the time we get to Foum Zguid for fuel the bigger bikes need to ride on in the direction of Marrakech as the pace is too slow at this point.

They head off, direction Marrakech and we'll bunny hop past them here and there as they stop to take pictures etc.

Due to our moving average now being slower we divert from the plan of taking the day of trails to Taroudant and the next days thereafter High Atlas trail and head to Ait-Ben-Haddou, ( UNESCO Site ) . along scenic roads

We arrive and get booked in and before dinner some take a walk to the town.

Next day we'll crew up and take an easy day to get to Marrakech.

The BMW gets dropped on the gravel but I was too slow to get and image.....protocol was ignored and the moto lifted up far too quickly. :D

We'll take the RN9 which will take us over the summit of Tizi N Tichka

Fuel up at Timedline, only 13kms from Ait Ben Haddou

Fuel Station here....

A more twisty scenic route is to take the P1506 North out of Ait Ben Haddou, but we must nurse the chain kit along....there'll be more of a chance to get a pick up to recover on the busier RN9 if it fails.

The road over the Atlas is being widened at present so it's a more fluid ride these days. We stop and take in the view on high.

We descend and ride on to the Argan Oil co-operative for those who wish to make a purchase.

Here

From here we'll ride on and next stop will be lunch.

I tend to avoid the next biggest cafe place when descending as it's usually tourist busy and parking is annoying come lunch time.....a random street view shows just that.......

Image

I usually stop here.....park directly outside any street BBQ et voila.

You just have to ride on twenty odd minutes .....
