Thank you to Keith for all the hard work and time spent in planning this trip, and to everyone for putting up with my issues concerning those pesky spikey round sprockety-things - That part of the tale is yet to come... well actually it's unlikely to get a mention as Keith assured me any embarrassing moments would be kept hush hush... - but I am annoyed with myself. Lesson learnt
Had a great time! Super fun, super scenery and super riding.
I'll just add some of my own pictures to tie in with Keith's narrative along the way. Sorry for the delay as I've had a few issues with image hosting, but here are some of my pics for where we are up to so far...
09 Oct - First day of Piste riding.
10 Oct - Second day of Piste riding.
11 Oct - Ride to Merzouga and exploring Merzouga dunes in the evening

Hard to believe that it's a week since I got back to this padded cell called Jersey !
A huge thanks to Keith for organising a amazing trip .
It was such an eye opener to see the contrast in Maroc . Such as the woman riding along the road side on top of a loaded donkey talking on a mobile phone .
The chaos in the Medina to the tranquility of the desert ( until the truck goes roaring past in the middle of the night ! ) Or the unusual explosion when camping a few k's away from the Algerian border . . . .
I did really enjoy the whole trip , from start to finish with everything in-between .
Big thanks to all on the trip for your patience with a novice on a wee bike .

We leave for a short day to get to Merzouga stopping along the way to take it all in as it changes to a more desert like look......

We bimble along taking in the scenery and we stop to lift money and give out pens and sweets to any kids that come over being curious.
We arrive at an hotel I use called Palais des Dunes in Merzouga just opposite the Erg Chebbi and with small dunes to explore.
Find it with cords here......
We park the motos, get our rooms and generally laze about and explore at the sector our leisure.....organise and fettle.
We order in beer at the end of the day and chat away.....
Rooms are just fine......
We will ride to Taouz the next day, through Ouzina to Ramlia and to wild camp just after.
