Here's one of my rally, luggage up and ready for the ABC France trip, just under 1400 miles I clocked and the 250 rally gobbled it up with ease. Even kept up on the motorway slog with the bigger bikes. It'll hold the speed limits much better than my 250l .

I was riding on my own--and not cruising that fast--but still 70mph most of the way (except on the N and Ds of course!--now that the French can pinch you and pass the fine to the DVLA for processing and points!). The small ones are cerainly capable!--this was at a campsite about 40 ks East of Mont St Michel--note I have the wine in!
