I didn't, i headed home on tarmac instead of continuing on the trails and filled up locally. Had I run out of fuel, help wouldn't have had to travel as far or had difficulty finding me. I forget how much reserve the 640 Adv has, and I also forget to fill up before every rideout. Every day is a school day.
I am very organised generally but ocassionally have refuelling issues.
In Nova Scotia, our rental car was down to nearly the red line but the gas station had a queue but the next town seemed close.
It might have been on the map but it certainly didn’t exist so we were really worried. Thousands of acres of forest, virtually no traffic.....
Suddenly, in a clearing, no houses anywhere we could see, a gas station, garage and store. Why the hell it was there we don’t know but thank god it was as we were tens of miles from any civilisation. Been much more controlled since and always refill on 1/4 if in an area I don’t know.
