Arctic Circle, Norway.
I'm just home after riding up to the Artic Circle and back for the last 16 days. Just WOW!!!
Day 1:400 miles from Amsterdam to a nice campsite just over the Danish border at Aabenraa. Day 2:200 miles to catch the fast ferry to Kristiansand. Thankfully this was the most expensive campsite of the holiday at 400 krone.

Day 3: After taking a run up the E9 to Langfossen waterfall we decide to head to Eidfjord where we had stopped on a cruise last year and spotted a great, simple campsite.

Re: Artic Circle, Norway.
Day 5: Over the Trollstigen (very busy, but still impressive) and the Atlantic Road which I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed with after coming out of the fjords.

Day 6:Sticking to the coast road to bypass Trondheim and my Satnav tells me this is the quickest route. Maybe not on a sports tourer!

Day 7:And it starts to feel like we're heading into the wilderness as we ride some great, empty roads towards the Artic Circle.
20 miles into the circle we stop by a lake for a cup of coffee and decide it would make a perfect wild camp spot. We had planned on travelling further north but we wanted to have time to revisit the fjords so that's the end of the road for us. We celebrate with a few drinks and a BBQ that night. -

Day 9:I'm glad we took the coast road up as we head down past Trondheim back into the mountains.
