yes very interesting :D ....we hadnt been down that way so we trotted down the 59 to otley ..the plan was to do up to deadmans that day and then leyburn /richmond the day after
we ended up in the woods ..un benknown to us its not really adv bike teratory ..i managed to get the crf through the first bog ..with davids help and a decent unicross rear

daves xt only had e09s and was way short of clearance so we decided it wouldnt be a good idea to haul her through
and id go do the rest of the track and dave would scoot round and meet me the other end rather than heaving the crf back through the bog
needless to say i got meself stuck near the end where it bogged again ... exposed tree roots where the soil was washes away were the main problem
...ive pinned it as a no do again .. unless i were on a proper pogo

the little rally is heavy for a250 but its not unmanagable ...it has good clearance and for a fully loaded bike it did pretty well ..compared to a xt its in the lightweight class me old tenere there would have been a nightmare ..fully fueled the little crf is a solid 70kgms lighter ..with the suspension upgraded and the 300 motor its i good little bike ..i luv it

..but to be fair if id known the trail id have missed it out ..it too much for a l non enduro type bike ....but we had a laugh but were blowing a bit hard at the end ...50 miniuts for 200 meters was amusing we had to work at it but we got her out in a comedic 20 mins which included much swearing and a attempt to saw me own foot in half with the rear wheel ... 8-)
the other trails were fine but ill be missing that one out next time
