Last week end there was a window of warm weather so I put my kit on and took a day ride to Gavarnie ski station.
Ride south out of Lourdes to Argelès Gazost to Luz-Saint-Sauveur and on through to Gavarnie.
Approach Luz' and see the mountains dead ahead.
Climb up along the twisties with road surface good after getting new tarmac last year.
Stop to take in the views
Ride on up to the car park dead end road at about 1800m
Make a U turn and head back to Luz' for a coffee to escape the gale force wind.
From here head back in the Lourdes direction via the D13 and Saint Savin
Park the moto at the memorial and take in the view.
An ideal day ride if you're based in the Lourdes region.

It's a beautiful part of the World, been there for the last 2 years as the ferry from the UK makes it so much easier.
The Tenere is an ideal bike for riding the Pyrenees.

Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
