Scotland to Russia and back.

Post by yodagoat »

Some of you may have read my article on Norway in September/October's ABR.

Here's the full story. As always, it's on my blog.

All feedback is welcome.

Cheers

Hi mike, Thanks for a great trip report and pics. What is the average price of the hytte in Norway.
Thanks, Campbell.

It varies quite a bit. If you budget between £30 and £50 a night you'll be fine. On a few sites a two folk sharing a hytte was nearly the same price as camping.

Great write up, many thanks for that! Norway sounds absolutely stunning and has to be on my bucket list methinks. I've often heard that if you love touring Scotland, like I do, then Norway is even better albeit a helluva lot more expensive. Wild camping is perhaps the way to make it more affordable? One way to find out..

Youch, that's about £6.80/gallon if my calcs are right. But then again, our prices aren't a million miles behind these days at just under £6 lol! :-(
