I too did Wales a couple of weeks back in the snow. Mid Wales for me and roads rather than trails, but a few times I had to turn around up to llyn Brianne, devils staircase and elan valley on the Crosstourer. What sort of tyres were you using. It good to do some bike bike trails.

I’m on Michelin Anakee Wilds. They’re a nice compromise I reckon. I hear you on the roads: it was perilous, not so bad going up hill, but it was a good thing I had spare undies for the steep downhills.

Definitely up for a big bike ride!

Thanks. I have Dunlop trail smart but they are really just road tyres.

Agree the going down hill was interesting!!
