Sweating and smiling in South Africa

For those of you feeling the UK chill i’ve just done a week riding in South Africa which topped out at 42 deg C!

Hi Phil

I didn’t rent this time; i currently have a bike out here that i used for a longer Africa trip last year. My brother (who lives in the Western Cape) uses it.

I did rent previously so it can be done. A lot of the guys here do rentals as part of a tour package.

How long are you out for, what are you aiming to do and what sort of bike are you after?

Only there for 2 weeks visiting our daughter but been allowed a 2 day pass to play , fancy these... http://www.africatwin.co.za/crf250rally not bad money and i aim to do some rough stuff if it can be found Dual off here lives near my daughters and he has posted some good looking routes
