Great write up thanks, my first Adventure after passing my test & an immediate bad accident ( not my fault) was the Portuguese trade route , lots of deep river crossings, burnt out forests , herds of deer trying to take you off the bike , nice locals,food, hotels etc although we did have a farmer pointing his gun at us as we got lost and ended up in his orchard made it to Lisbon walked into the sea up to our waists then got on the bikes & stRted to ride back again
