More French lanes

Further to this post: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=44189&hilit=france several like minded souls congregated on Paul's from various directions for his first guided trip round his local lanes. All went pretty well really, the sun shone after the fog cleared, tramp as usual broke his bike, Andy is very good at wheelies...mostly, Steve will attempt any hill climb, give Dave a plastic beaker next time, Phil can bump start at three paces, Bob hates ruts repeatedly and the usual bollox was talked at the dinner table, spot on. I think it was 4 sometimes sorted its self though and had a great time .......Cheers Paul , great lanes ,grub and guys ......................never got to build a sandcastle though

Thanks a lot Paul at the front and Alan at the back. Big thanks to Paul for good food and comfy beds. Take some enduro bikes, lots of mud, a bunch of nobs and plenty of alcohol - mix together liberally and consume - a recipe for a good weekend.

Well...a huge thanks for trvelling from so far guys it was a ace weekend full of laughter and piss taking, great hospitality and trails but yes the ccm decided to breakdown in a major way ie lost compression and valve clearance a fat finger could plug...so operation time ...

I borrowed Hermans van on saturday to meet the wild bunch in Avoranche for cafe au lait and sticky buns...then did a restock the fridge with beer run...

So huge thanks guys for a memorable weekend the stories get better each time phil...

Now wheres me hammer........
