Just had to go on a ride, even if it's a short afternoon ride
There once used to be a wooden church, demolished after been out of use for quite some time
Palmiet - http://www.eskom.co.za/AboutElectricity ... cheme.aspx
Always see this from a distance, today the gates were open, so I took a chance
Kogelberg dam
Gravel highways
Hans se kop, mountains in the area, Somerset West
Palmiet power scheme
Peregrine, coffee stop
Old Bedford, used to be a fire truck, now a library
Old cemetery beside the road
It's getting late and cold (it's winter here now), the sun is setting, I'll ride the old pass another time
135 km of fun right down the road
Afternoon ride

Re: Afternoon ride
Looking good! We are coming to S A for 4 weeks next February and can't wait. Don't think we'll be hiring a bike, but will be touring around in a car. So many places to see, we are struggling to decide on which to do! So any ideas would be welcome, particularly on game reserves for a few days safari. Thanks. Steve.
Re: Afternoon ride
Nice ride report and photo's. I'm from Lincoln and my dad used to work for Ruston Bucyrus.
Chaos is the only camouflage that incompetence needs to operate at full capacity.
I dunno where that road goes, might as well go take a look anyway there's no where else i need to be right now.
