Re: ONE LESS IN THE BUCKET
Well done - great trip and a great write up. You'd give Nick Sanders a run for his money!

Re: ONE LESS IN THE BUCKET
After "Berberville" we headed to Imichill where we arrived early 3 pm so took advantage for a wander around after a hose down in the digs 200dh DxBXB great spot but the food left a lot to be desired
Steve waiting for the band to start playing

We gave it 15 mins but nawt happened so went for a brew and got treated to the guys at the digs on drums  can't sort the vid
Kicked of early again and i punched in the Cirque de Jaffar , it took us over high ruined roads and unbeliveable scenery

The whole morning was on road , great riding but i was loosing faith in the GPS for finding the C de J and it was getting bloody hot even up there
IMG_4305 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr
Following the purple line we ended up here at a new dam and no entry
IMG_4306 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr
We needed to get over the other side so started backtracking
IMG_4307 by Philip Parkinson, on Flickr
Then a road sign gave us a clue :woohoo:
I started the C de J a few years back with MrX and David (Blue TA) of here and got turned round because of a massive land slide so starting from the other end i hoped we could do it all.
It started great ,wooded tracks open tops and a few shallow river crossing

Down into the dry river bottom and this was our destination

I came to realise that just off the last pic top right is where we got to last time and to my massive dissapointment its now bigdand wide enough for to double deckers to pass
I only took one pic , i know it is a country thats progressing and needs a good inferstructure ............but not good for us

Some nice flowers though

Re: ONE LESS IN THE BUCKET
It certainly looks a baren and sparse countryside, are there really no houses for miles and miles [Im a towny]?
