ABC Portugal trip
Monsanto town, stunning place. Don't see houses built like that very often.

ABC Portugal trip
The ferry on the way home, we won every penny/cent on the Bingo, did ok on the quiz then blitzed the karaoke, perfect ending to a great trip.

12 days total, you can get to the start of the trail on the same day you leave the ferry.OnHellas wrote:Now that looks like another thing to add to the 'to do' list.
Thanks for sharing.
Out of interest, how many days did you have from getting off of the ferry?
How many more days would have seen you make it all the way to the south.
Did you use the trail north again or use roads?
Ta
We had an issue or two so we had to miss some parts of the trail on the way down so it made sense to do them on the way back then hit the roads for the ferry.
So many options depending on your preference, you could blast down south and trail back up north but we prefer to avoid motorways.
A small fast paced group and long days with no red wine would get further.
We made it to Castelo Branco for a bit of reference.
