Hi Spud, I'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs or anything but here's something that gets neglected on a lot of DR350's.

At the bottom of the frame downtube is an oil screen, they can be a bit of a bitch to get out but with plenty of heat (I use a hot air gun) and a good 19mm deep recessed socket they will come out.

If it is not taken out and cleaned every so often it can get blocked and that usually results the top end being cooked. I am doing some surgery on my bike at the moment so I took a photo of mine today.
