SUNDAY IN WALES
Off on family hols next week so blagged me a day out. Didn't have time to plan anything so I just winged it.
Started with the worlds most expensive breakfast here Then on to an old fave.
Forgot how steep the start is from the village end.
Had to leave the gate open and ride it uphill as well, then down again.
You have to like these signs.
This is not a picture of Bala Lake ( well it is really) it is a picture of where I am going.
Stopped to look at this but it is all in welsh. Just two Owen Morgans that had something to do with Bala lake is all I could workout. Maybe someone here knows more?
Wild Horses?
Then a road to no where

The road is there somewhere
I think this will a great sight after heavy rain, must come back and see. The best part is that there is NO charge to view.
then this way.

Took the trail above Fairbourne. Barmouth in the distance
Just come from over there.
Onwards and upwards.
The faint black line is the trail.
There were some smaller trails as well.
Every heard the saying Flat top ?Just come from over there.

Some more of the forest trails to get to the last set of trails.
Then a smaller one. Just over the foot pegs but no big rocks to hit.
The other side of the woods.
Glad that the water was low here, I have seen this crossing un-passable and it would be a long ride roundThen a smaller one. Just over the foot pegs but no big rocks to hit.

Re: SUNDAY IN WALES
Nearly finished.
Got to stay left on this trail, long drop to the bottom.
The rain had stayed off all day so when this came down for ten mins I did not moan too much. I looked at this view for a good twenty minutes. Not a single man made thing in sight. Excluding the track of course.
320 miles for the day. 6.00am start 6.00pm finish.
