Totally agree.... You don't need the latest kit or bike to have an adventure just the right positive mental attitude (thumbs)ollydog wrote:nice one tink, just shows if you have the desire the cost does not really come into play

Thanks for posting, nice tale and goes to show that a 'proper' adventure bike is the one you actually have an adventure on.
As we all really know, spending thousands on the next must have as it: turns in more quickly/is more stable at three figure speeds/nine levels traction control instead of only three/has a more powerful alternator for more heated kit, sat nav & LED lights/ makes more power than last years model/ is a better colour (delete as applicable :whistle: ) is very little to do with a bike being more suitable for 'an adventure'.
For me, no way would a 150cc be big enough, I would need at least 200cc - ooer, there I go already

Only had a chance to peruse the first few paragraphs and will read it more later but I must say.....my small Chinese bike was amazing. Easily enough bike to have an adventure on.
