We eat out in a 1972 decor restaurant next door to the hotel that night and we'll take a walk around the town the next day to relax and buy any presents if need be.
Just across from the hotel we take the steps that will take us into the old town.
Jon takes a picture of an old lady's arse.....maybe he took the picture of the street BBQ servers arse?
I told Roger this was a sign for a motorcycle museum so he opened the door beneath it and walked in to someones house.
Nice knockers
Roger took his old shoes off and went inside to look for some new ones....
He said he wanted a dress so he went in here to get one. Gordon wanted one too
He saw these and started rubbing them vigorously thinking a genie would appear.....after 4 minutes I told him they were tea pots and not a lamp.
He particularly liked the handbags but didn't buy one...
Although he did say he liked this one the best
Once he'd bought the dress we carried on exploring.
Roger made us look at more handbags......he can't decide what one suits him.....
I tell him the one to my left matches the colour of his eyes
..and more....
Oh look some tiles...
Next section is picture heavy to show the town in case any one has any motivation to visit in the future.
Don't look if you don't like these kinds of pictures........but.....you'll have already looked to see whether you don't like them...catch 22.

Re: 2O16 EDC Maroc Ride Report
On our last night we saunter into the main square for food...erm..here...it's worthy of its own plaque for some reason....
By now we're really on the run down to leaving Africa and heading to Europe. Two of the goats start to sob when I tell them that.
The next morning we square our hotel bill up,we pay the garage man 20D each and head to get fuel before riding to Tanger Med port.
Before we leave though I'm reminded to check my sprocket again in case the teeth have all rounded off thus leaving me stranded. I'm disappointed to find that they're not.
Park up here and buy a ticket back...for me a one way ticket was about €58
When asked, everyone agreed my bike was the best.
Al is nearly gurning having to leave.
That's about it until next time.....
I bid my farewell telling everyone it has been a pleasure to ride with them
I go via Alicante to visit a buddy and where I had to buy a chain kit from Yamaha. I installed the rear sprocket at a street café before heading home.
Off I go having ultimately ridden 5999kms in total upon my return to France..who'd a thunk it.
The others ride the same return route from whence they came.
Only loose ends are;
1. More pictures have arrived from another goat......so I'll go back and insert them where relevant
2.My sprocket has now been returned pending a replacement.
The next post will have some prudent information, based on our experience, along with approximate costs should anyone else consider traveling there.

Re: 2O16 EDC Maroc Ride Report
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post such a brilliant trip report and photos, really want to go now and see for myself as it looks absolutely great.
I will be interested to see how much it all costs although I suppose I'm not really bothered as its a place I really want to go to for some strange reason (according to the wife) either by motorbike or 4x4.

2O16 EDC Maroc Ride Report
Cracking ride report their Keith! Captured the spirit nicely. Top work fella...
Cost wise I usually budget £1300 to £1500 for the maroc trips. This includes absolutely everything needed to go. I.e. new set of tyres, oil change before and after, travel insurance, bike insurance, ferry, petrol, food, accommodation, general spending money etc.
I think this trip cost me around £1300 all in.

Re: 2O16 EDC Maroc Ride Report
As can be seen stashing approximately £130-150 over ten months (January to October) should cover the cost from the UK to include the Plymouth to Santander ferry or what ever.
Average spend for the UK goats was about £1400 to include hair products and make up.
For me the total spend was about €900.
Rough distances ridden from 02.10.16 to 20.10.16
Caceres to Algeciras 453km
Tanger Med to Asilah 82km
Asilah to Midelt 406km
Midelt to Merzouga 277km
Merzouga to Auberge Dinosaur/Wild Camp 118km
Dinosaur to Zagora 138km
Zagora to Wild Camp Foum Zguid region 193km
