All too soon the desert trail ends and we arrive in Arguedas mid morning. We grab some bread and wine for later from a bakers popular with locals and an adjacent shop - a couple of locals across the street look on curiously as I open the wine bottle on the kerb side, then carry on about their business as I pour it into aluminium water bottle in my pannier - no I dont need a glass of vino tinto at 10am :cheer: . We head north passing a large water canal system and solar farm, stopping for lunch later at a nice picnic area north of Carcastillo on the banks of the river Aragon
As we've done a lot of RB10 before, and also not wanting to push our luck anymore, we reluctantly don't go further north of Embalse de Yesa lake. Instead head west in the direction of Bilbao, now late afternoon we start looking for a campsite and the Garmin leads us to Parkigna in Ciriza but all we find is an old patch of grass used as a football pitch. Next we tried camping Arbizu which was alright although not a lot of shade. As we're having another rest day tomorrow (ferry leaves Thursday) we look for something better, and come across Camping Etxarri a little north of Etxarri-Aranatz. The site is nice with lots of trees, pool, bar, restaurant, wifi etc so we pitch up here.
When we've gone back that way to Bilbao we stopped at the truck stop at Olazti just below the national park, great rooms, very clean, nice restaurant too

Good to know for future, thanks Paul
Try buying the 3 litre boxes of wine. They are excellent value and you can throw the box away at the supermarket and you would be surprised how well the bladder fits in your luggage(they also do not leak at all) You also get a couple of nights out of a 3 litre box........well some do!

It's WNW of Pamplona at J394 A1 where the A1 changes direction north and it joins A10
Nice route through Sierra de Urbassa NA718 from Estella runs right down into the truck stop
