Cheers guys .....i've learnt a new Catalan phrase Bob
"una gran copa de la seva millor gin tonic jove"

Off the trails and back on black stuff i started to recognise odd bits , in fact last time i was here the road was covered to the top of the barrier in stone and silt

Up passed another ski station looking back at where we'd come from

I'm fairly used to heat after 12 years here but this was just getting silly !!! so every opportunity we cooled down

Can't remember where these small rivers were but at ecah one it was a crazy hill climb out of each :woohoo:

Can't see them but the hill in the distance with the clouds coming out of it has the 2 red and white masts on that we passed at the last ski station !!! just for a referance of how long the trails are (thumbs)

Some of the easier trails

Wish I'd been there, was considering a road trip next year but maybe another trail across the Pyrenees is on the cards.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Its been bonkers hot this Sept - at least starting to cool a little now. Good to see you had a blast. Might be heading south through France early Oct - but not sure where stopping yet. Idris is emigrating to Spain - just not getting used in the UK.
Hope you are all well.

Onward and upward , well we started going down and found a nice cooling water splash that needed crossing sevral times as it turned out

But not 10 yards from the crossing there's a rope across the track with a cardboard sign hanging on it with some backwater gibberish scratched on it

The RB was pointing me that way so under the rope we popped  to find this

And one of these jumping up and down

He was OK , but i guessed from my little bit of backwater gibberish and lots of arm waving that they were felling trees all along that trail so its a no go :(

He did point out another way round so we back tracked .....over the water

Took what i thought was the right track over another stream that caugth us all out !!! 5ft across and 3ft deep :woohoo:
But it was a dead end so off back to the river

And try and go over the tops !!!

i'll be back :side:

Sounds like a good plan Brenhden, let us know and we shall see if we can raise a small group, Graham is very interested to do the RB1 in the Pyrenees.
