Little and large on the Fosseway

Post by Godspeed »

Yesterday a mate of mine on his 1200GSA and me on my little XR125 went for a ride up the Fosseway.... saw a Red BMW coming the other way - looked a bit like Nicoli's bike.

Its such a great route with very little other traffic/people, so glad we have places like this still around :)

Still loving my XR125, a very competent small bike. So economical (seeing 105mpg average), so light (turn around in any space), and a comfy seat (for my non-padded arse)... what more could you want??? Ok, so its crap at motorway speeds but fine to sit behind lorries...

We took a couple of clips of the ford crossing halfway up:

Amazing,

must head up the Fosse way sometime :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

The XR is 2008 and I've only had it a few months.
The Union Jack is because Steve lives in Toulouse so reminds him of where he's from :)

Nice one Godspeed (thumbs)

Having watched your video I think you'd be better off taking the left-hand route through the ford (as your camera is facing), usually there are less rocks of the left.

In winter it can be a challenge just to get to the little bridge to get over the ford :P
