Andrew and myself decided to take his 'new to him' DRZ400s brought from Chris on this very forum (thumbs).
So the plan was to just get on some back roads, ucr's and Public ways, in total only about 75 miles in total, but a cracking day for it and managed to find a few ucr's that I've not done before.
Old Bedham School used as a School and a Church built in 1880.
Rode on to the top of the Downs just south of Bignor via the Roman Villas (thumbs)
Up to Whiteways lodge at Bury, a local bike meeting place.
The Public ways
It's nice sometime just to have an easy ride, without trying to find the extreme enduro sections all the time.
More than happy to put a route together about 150miles with a pub lunch (thumbs) if there's any intrest in such a run. (thumbs)
South downs, short afternoon jaunt.

You and Andrew didn't waste much time getting out, Cracking photos that's got to be one of the best looking DRZ's I've seen

Stewie,
Are you sure that the ride from Bignor to Whiteways is legal to ride???? I had so much trouble from ramblers stating that it was illegal that that I sold my DRZ E. But it is a stunning ride if it can be done...Andrew

You can't ride direct from the top to Whiteways, both the UCR and the Public way both lead off to the north, you have to go down and around (thumbs)JENKS wrote:Stewie,

Well we did the South Downs so making use of the late evening sun a few of us headed out on the North downs, the lanes are bone dry atm so very dusty (unless your at the front (thumbs))
Statement of the ride has to go to Andy '' remember to keep your DUSTANCE :woohoo:  ''
Good mix of byways and single track (thumbs)
Some nice views along the way (thumbs)
