European Camping Websites?

Post by NeilM »

Have you got a favourite website you use to find camping in Europe?

I have a couple of sites that I like for the UK, but doing some on line searches, I am struggling to find anything comprehensive for Europe.

Most of those I have found seem to only be booking sites and iOverlander seems only to have certain sites listed. In both cases if they don't have a site near a chosen overnight location, then they show nothing, even in places where I know there are sites.

If I need to go country specific, then my first week long planned trip is going to be mostly in Belgium.

Not a website as such but I have always used the Archies Camping app and it's brilliant

We just use google maps, zoom into an area your interested in and search for camping. There are a few filters for price/rating/open now etc. It also helps if you know the local term for some accommodation types, farm stay can bring up results for cheap alternatives in rural areas.

I'll give both of those a try.
