Seems like a good idea Paul, well done. Although not a camp site as such i recently stayed here and it is a beautiful location and happy to recommend.

Nice basic campsite, little half hour walk into Dinas Mawddwy, lovely pub and food, plus a Hotel open on the way back for a nightcap too.
Great base for mid and north wales

Been to this one quite a lot of times. On road from Dolgellau to Barmouth. Pub up the road, the Halfway House.

Priory Mill Farm, lovely place just on the outskirts of Brecon alongside a river, tents only no kids or vans allowed, perfect

North - Bwch-Yn-Uchaf Campsite, Llanuwchiilyn. Nice wee site recommended to us by an ABR member. (Herman) Lovely site alongside a river & surrounded by great roads and scenery. Pub in village a short stroll from the site.

Mid Wales - Woodlands Caravan Park, Devils Bridge. Came across here a few years ago - a big site, but the spot we got seemed to be well away from the rest of the site & on the boundary - so almost a wild camp feel. Bikes could be parked beside tents also. Cafe/Tearoom at the main entrance

Appears to be no website

Here’s one that many of you will have ridden past:

Cwmystwyth ( halfway between Devil’s Bridge and Elan Valley)

Next to the river, across the road from the farm. Perfectly basic :)
