The route is now more or less sorted. After the first days ride through France and camping for the night we will be riding over the Furka and Nufenen Passes in Switzerland. There will be a nights stay in both Switzerland and Italy before traveling to Lake Bohinj in Slovenia for a couple of days r and r. The trip from the lake to Budapest should be fairly straightforward. I've been in touch with a couple of campsites and I don't think there will be much trouble finding places to stop. Just have to sit tight now to see what's going to happen with Brexit/Covid.

Calais to Troyes then Avallon for the night. Through to Beaune onto Visp, Switzerland, for another night. Onto Ulrichen then ride over possibly both the Furka and Nufenen Passes to Italy.

This is campsite we will be staying on in Budapest for 2 or 3 nights. One of the best small sites I've stopped on.

Nick.

Sounds like a nice trip.
Don’t forget your vignette for Switzerland unless you want to go from traffic light to traffic light between the mountain passes. If you know a good route through please let me know, although we’ve no plans to ever go there again - never say never.

You need to look for--EuroTour21

It's a bit quiet on there at the moment as still waiting to see if we can go but write a post and it soon gets busy.
