Bf extended sailing times
Went on bf last night, the sailing times for Portsmouth bilbao are now showing 32 hrs that's two nights on the boat now. I think santander is the same, but the return is still 24 hrs.??

Cheers Beany.... It all depends on the boats used on the routes was 24hrs to santander on pont Avan the bilbao was 36 but still 1 night on each just diff depart and arrival times.... The new boats arrive shortly so don't worry...
Have a safe journey...
Here is a bf ferry link showing they now use old tugs the pont aven isn't used in the Bilbao crossing just Santander.. . So yes 2 nights in a covid cruise with reduced restaurants and menus.. That's the old Conemara... The crossings must be busy.

Re: Bf extended sailing times
I was booked on the shorter Portsmouth to Bilbao crossing but they have moved that boat to the French routes, so they transferred my crossing to the Plymouth to Santander route which is quicker anyway. I think because they have had to reduce the numbers on each boat the French crossings are more popular so they moved the boat to that route. Cheers

Brittany ferries have cancelled the order for the new boats. I posted a link to the news article in another thread a few weeks back.

They cancelled a 2nd boat which was due to replace the one doing Portsmouth to Caen.
