Alan - do you happen to know if camp-sites have re-opened? And what's the situation with bars, restaurants etc?AlanHolt wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 10:58 pm https://spanishmotorbiketours.co.uk/spa ... june-2020/

Just got a reply from Didac at the Noguera Palleresa campsite in Sort. He says, yes, they are open and waiting to welcome us!
I'm just pleased that they'll have us back at all...
Providing there's no big second wave, it looks like we are OK for Sort September 20th-26th.

Looks like most campsites are opening during June, the restaurant's and bars are opening with reduced capacity. Borders are opening, so looks like 20 - 26 September in Sort is all good to go.....daveuprite wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 7:35 amAlan - do you happen to know if camp-sites have re-opened? Re: Spain opens for tourism from 22nd June 2020
I haven't been given the go-ahead to restart the activity. I am guessing its because I don't have a center where I operate from, so I can't ensure people follow particular santiary regulations. There is a suggestion that I (and others like me) will be paid until the end of September to remain closed, or to help us to slowly restart. Another article suggested we may be paid to remain closed until the end of the year. As soon as I hear something, i'll know what I can do.
In the meantime, I have started European Van Courier Ltd ( https://www.eurovancourier.co.uk/ ) which may be of interest to those who want to ship their bikes to/from Europe to maximise their riding time or save on tyre wear, or those who live in Europe and want items transporting either way. I will try to keep the Sort adventure dates free so I can squeeze in some riding.
Current bike is a Yamaha T7
