Hotel recommendations

Got a little trip planned to the Isle of Man with a mate from New Zealand. We are getting an early ferry from Liverpool and would like to stay close to the ferry the night before. We are traveling up from East Anglia and would like to be no more than an hour away from the ferry, has anyone a good tip on a place to stay with save secure parking for the bikes? Cheers.

have a look at the Wirral side of the river,hoylake,west Kirby,heswall areas.more rural,plenty of b and bs,and about 30 mins to the boat.pm me if you need any info.

Thanks for the tip i have had a look and it works loads of places and a quick ride to the boat
