Gents, ride mate sought for next year, June blast off. It's a Mammoth ask but safety in mind it's always way safer with someone else. Just looking for another Barmy Brit to join me on a 4 month trip of a lifetime. There's no way Canada will disappoint, not looking to break bones or set speed distance records but a healthy pace with plenty of stops and plenty of wild camping.

I have been prepping for a solo ride but if you are up for it PM me.

Hi, interesting journey and sounds very interesting. Just using your page (sorry) to say something very similar...i am planning an April take off but East and the Stans on a DRZ (and it looks like we've done almost the same adjustment to the bike!)
I too am alone and possibly looking for a ride partner (had planned a lone ride and still will but as it gets closers you start to think...)>

Anyway, Canada is of course the complete opposite...but if anyone (or flipflopdog) was thinking of another direction....who knows.

FlipFlop...might nice to compare notes/set up one day. Where you? I'm north Hampshire

Hey if your going to do the TCAT give me a shout. I live next to part of the trail in Northern Saskatchewan. Was thinking of doing some of it around Cyprus Hills.
