I normally use Google and download offline maps when in the UK.
Does this work well for this kind of trip.

Thanks
I convert them to gpx and import them into my satnav, the google ones are just so we can all contribute and edit the route before we go and as a backup for those on the trip that rely on their phones

Hi shaggy

I have done the Stelvio a few times, believe it or not I have met quite a lot of people who have dropped their bike going up the famous bit because you have to go across the road on really tight switch backs and meet traffic coming down

If you have a choice it’s much safer to come down the famous bit because you can see clearly what’s coming up at you

Although one to do the Stelvio is really busy with traffic which probably makes it one of the most dangerous passes

My mate did film going up this year it’s on here as an Alps holiday or find it on YouTube under pjy motorcycles, alps with altitude trip

Just trying to help

I normally use this site to convert to GPX https://mapstogpx.com/

Never tried it the other way
