Getting out and about on a bike in Nepal is pretty hectic. The traffic and road conditions are chaotic but great, if you like a bit of madness. Just keep your eyes open and enjoy it.
Because of poverty and the huge earthquake a few years back the road surfaces are often broken up so it’ll be dusty and/or muddy. I’d take my own helmet if I went again.
I suggest you only ever drink water from a bottle that you break the seal on yourself. Giadia, if that’s how you spell it is widespread. You’ll still get the squits so take gut meds.
This all sounds a bit negative but that’s not the case. It’s a fascinating country and a wonderful one to ride, though I haven’t been to Tibet.
