It caught fire in the week, at sea
That was the 'technical' problem

To impress people we don't even like

We had our crossing cancelled about 3 years ago when the Pont Aven broke a propshaft. They did offer alternative crossing to Spain but it didn't fit with our work schedule so we went to St.Malo and rode down (bloody long way). Brittany Ferries reimbursed our original booking, were quite generous with discounts on our rearranged crossing plus we got a credit voucher for £75 which we used later.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.

Mate was due to sail tomorrow for 10 days round Spain and Portugal. All bolloxed now. He got a full refund as his trip was an all in package.
Hope to cheer him up on our trip to Auschwitz next month
