I thought is sounded too good to be true .. free land access .. hah!
slowly but surely the clamps of govt are tightening to the poor working man (and woman and child)
I know when I visited Scotland many years ago for a few weeks in my campa, I could hardly ever find even a decent layby, let alone a good hardstanding, with bad signs everywhere you tried to rest up. The road just went on and on without respite or place to stop .. out in the sticks anyway. There were not many people about and they did not seem particularly friendly, but I am antisocial anyway, so put it down to me ? though no-one seemed to mind me parking on the road in towns. and yes its faking freezing in November.
