Carcassonne.

Post by sprintster »

I've just booked 4 nights in Carcassonne for a cheap break in September.I'd like to hire a small bike or scooter to keep the cost down if anyone knows where I could get one.Cheers.

Type ‘location scooter carcasonne’ into google, you’ll get several responses. If you need someone to phone them give us a shout but wouldn’t book it until nearer the time

We intend being there around that time too, been trying for the last couple of years and never quite made it back. https://ovineyards.com looks interesting :?:

We’ve stayed here a few times on the bikes. It’s cheap and cheerful and a good stopover 😎.

The owner is a biker plus it’s got secure parking and it’s a 2 mins walk from the canal side where there are loads of bars and a 15 minute walk into the old city.

Plus you get a free glass of champers in a good restaurant that’s a 10 mins walk away if you mention that you’re staying at the Astoria 8-) .
