Never as many outings as I'd like but I am working on it. France in March on the lanes, Wales in April, Maritime Alps in June, Brittany in Sept, jax's in November and lots of horse stuff in the summer, be glad when the daughter gets a trailer licence as I hardly ride in the summer months :(
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.

Well....the most fun ride I had was from Cornwall to Fareham and back for work. Saw a Quasar in a gridlocked Salisbury: the first I've ever seen on the road.

And I've been to Terminal 5 at Heathrow, and The Ricoh Stadium in Coventry.

At least riding a motorbike is less tedious than taking the car.

I never cease to be amazed at how the local peoples attitude becomes more helpful and friendly when they find out you are Écossais and not Anglais
I never cease to be amazed that racism towards the English is casually accepted throughout the rest of Europe

Aye, well, something to do with ancient history there (even though in more recent history, collectively, with the rest of the allies you/we booted out a few invaders for them).

I was in Aix en Provence in July, sitting in a little square by a fountain having a beer one evening when there was a huge roar..... Croatia had scored the winner. It struck me as odd, but there you go.

Busy year for me. Managed the full set of Adventure Bunkhouse Crew meets (no we don't take the name seriously!)

Jan, Shropshire
Feb, Salisbury
Can't remember march and april but sure we did something
May, Isle of Man
June, TET trip through france mainly and then home through italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, germany, belgium and france several more times.
Just the two of us on this particular trip, Fatman, also of the ABC accompanied me and what a trip it was.

July, sussex
Midlands rally
August, Cumbria /Northumberland
Sept, Sarge's in NW france
Oct, wales
Nov, devon
Dec, well it isn't over yet but we did have a night away in Newcastle with the crew plus wags! A first for the crew Image

Really should make more effort with the ride reports.

Probably my favourite photo from the TET trip. Image

Aside from day trips on the island (Newfoundland), took a run through North Eastern States, Mt Washington (wow, that was cool), onto Lake Placid, then a weekend on Prince Edward County watching the 'flatlanders' (Toronto folks who come to the island to cause mayhem), then Montreal Canada Day and onto Gaspe Penn. Total trip in 14 days about 6000kms. Good times... ;)
