Yes. But if you have pre-prepared your route avoiding the known problem areas, you'll be ok is what I think was meant.
The alternative is a 2 device system, something pinging you alerts in the ear from say, a phone, and then a legal satnav on the dash

Havnt heard anything like that here, all the French are interested in is the Brexit negotiations and the total bollox that goes with it. Only the odd person has asked if I'm returning to the UK, but everyone else is cool. Vive la revolution

I received a speeding fine yesterday from a trip to sarges last September! 82 in a 70.

Are they having a mass dish out in case they become invalid or something?

Scooby.. Never heard of a 70kmh limit in france most are 50,90 now 80 and 110 or 130...has our government actually handed the french a database of our vehicle details... Maybe time for a dodgy uk plate lol...

Yep they have 70 limits now , normally when coming into towns 80 ...70... then 50 .....bastards ......carry a can of spray paint to help others
