Looks like I missed that RR too first time around.

Yep good info & thanks for sharing.

By the sound of both ride reports you would think that the rain here is reserved for us locals :D

I have done the Wild Atlantic Way end to end without seeing one drop of rain. And I was doing it over quite a few weeks. Sunshine all the way. It was same for North Antrim Coast and also the A2 around the Mournes and up in Dromara.

I guess you must have been away at the time, rumour has it that locals come home to hear that the sun has been splitting the stones since leaving.

Thanks for all the advice chaps. I knew there are some keen bike riders over in Ireland. It looks like I have a choice of blatting down the whole lot in one go or taking it easy and savouring some of the interesting (to me) points. I'm after a photo of the Atlantic crashing against rugged rocks so I'll check out the Website for suitable spots and concentrate on them.

News Flash!!
Just had an email from Direct Ferries of 20% discount on Stena sailings from Holyhead or Fishguard; any sailing in 2018 booked before Tuesday 27th Feb evening :D
