Caucasian Mountains

Post by captinktm »

Short vid of the pass that is a must ride in Georgia , it traverses the Caucasus mountains traveling as close as you can get on a bike to the ridge line. It fast becoming concrete at the western end so if it's on your list get on with it.

"O, who can hold a fire in his hand by thinking on the frosty Caucasus?"

Always fancied going there. Particularly like the look of Tusheti National Park.

I have just checked out the NP and I am wondering if you could enter Armenia ia south eastern Turkey. I don't think you can? This would save a massive ride up north and back south again. I am going to do the Taurus mountains again this summer so could nip over.

Mid June I will be crossing Turkey via the Taurus mountains. If you need a stop off on your way through Bulgaria let me no

Appreciate the offer, very kind thanks although I've already booked the bike shipping to Georgia and then back again from Bishkek, I've just got to try and ride it from one to the other!
