I went last year, loved every moment of it: in via Estonia and out via Georgia, Turkey , Greece and Italy.

The HU meet was excellent, very admirably run by Alex and the crew who really worked hard and looked after everyone. Highlights for me were the banya and swims in the lake after being beaten with birch twigs ........ very invigorating :)

The Suźdal Bike and Blues Festival following the HU weekend was amazing!

Volgograd was unmissable if you like your history, as were the 'Golden Ring' of fortresses. I wished that I had spent more time in Georgia as it was another great country.

To sum up Russia: the people were amazing.....you'll love it !

Of course, may as well do it 2018, there's no time like the (almost) present.
