Could you provisionally put me down too - work/girlfriend/cash allowing

Might not be able to manage the whole trip but could probably get 10 days or so in.

Will be on a F800GS (hope that doesn't spoil the Tenere party!)

Cheers
Daniel

No problem..... You're on the list. :D

Minor date change....

Those who want to go just keep checking in here and there on page one if you please........ I'll work out a 'rough' route later and post it up.

Perhaps a stupid question...

What do the dates refer to? Is that from Asson (or whichever port we arrive in in Spain) and back again, or is it dates in country?

Aft'noon Jersey...

Not a stupid question at all......I never thought to clarify...that's the start of it...now you know why it's called the EDC

The dates would be me leaving my home and which means a rendezvous either here that morning (or any amount of days before ) or the evening in Spain.

I'll be researching other ferry routes soon to see what's optimum.

Christophe will call with me in two days time to discuss rough routes etc in Maroc to plant the seed as it were and to see what develops thereafter.

Hi all

Seems that I have the go ahead from the boss for 3 weeks off ... and from work as well LOL

Ferry out = Oct 6th Dep Portsmouth 0845 - Arr Santander 1415 on 7th
£161 for a 2 berth cabin on the outside (as inside ones are gone already !!)

Return is the one where things are variable (to say the least) ... the longer the better I say
- 23rd Dep Bilbao 1030 - Arrive Portsmouth 9am on 24th = £179
- 24th Dep Santander 2200 - Arrive Ports 6am on 25th = £161
- 25th Dep Bilbao 1530 - Arr Ports 1415 on 26th = £?
- 27th Dep Santander 2030 - Arr Ports 1945 on 28th + £?

Either way ... work on 29th at the latest !!!

Prices above are shown as singles on the AFerry.com website
Did not look at arriving to Plymouth as that is too far West for me

If these dates are set I will look to get some booking done and dusted before anyone changes (or loses) their minds
