cheers

I have been the last 2, its not like a normal or British bike Rally.
Camping is high up on the plateau, and people come from all over Europe & further.

Its not a massive rally, maybe 300 bikes.

But for me, the reason to go is to ride some of the best roads in the world, both tarmac & trails and camp at high altitude in the Alps in a stunning location. Bardonecchia is surrounded by long trails going up into the mountains. Mount Jafferau & Col de Sommelier are 2 of the favourites.

Here are vids from my Italian mate up Jafferau & Sommelier.
Mount Jafferau

Sommelier

Also if you hook up with any other brits going & stay off the highways, the ride down is also an adventure.

To be accurate, its a 3 day rally from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th. But it hangs over to Sunday 15th.

Still well worth the effort IMO.

Might see you all there :) I am going without a doubt. :)

Will be there in my motorhome, based in Bardonecchia, with my KTM 640 Duke & my Stomp 160 pit bike.

If there are any motorhomers who fancy it, free parking is available in Bardonecchia. I have done it this way the last 2 years. :)

That could very easily happen Keith after having such a great time in Morocco this year.
