Post by PADDYTFIELD »

Hi All
Looking for roadside recovery/repatriation cover for Europe.
Last year I used Green Flag for France,Spain,Eire but I was looking for something that would get me and the Wife back home with the bike if things turned FUBAR.
Cheers Paddy

Try LV=/Brittannia Rescue.
Only ever had to use them for my car last year and in the UK but performed well.

QDOS were good for me when I broke down in France. Only drawback is that your vehicle must be less than 11 years old.

Some only cover mechanical breakdowns but wont cover accidents regardless of fault.

Just read the small print before you buy to ensure your are getting the cover you want. :geek:

Almost none will repatriate like that. most say they do, but the small print says "value up to £1000" which doesn't get you far if you're somewhere like switzerland.

Britannia Rescue / LV will repatriate you and your bike if you're in a crash, as long as you're within the geographical confines of the policy.
