A few weeks ago I came across a car (Merc estate) with only 3 wheels and still being driven along the main road from Tebay to Kirkby Stephen, sparks flying of the front of the car and what was left of the 4th tyre on fire! There was no stopping them and when I carried on I saw they'd been going for about 2 miles like that with huge grooves and tyre rubber on the road.
Turns out they turned into my home village, Ravenstonedale, and I've got a good idea who it was

Whilst riding the lanes in France we turned off the black top onto a wide lane to the surprise of mother and daughter answering the call of nature in tandem. We gave a friendly wave as we tootled past, they were laughing their heads off.
The secret of a long life is knowing when its time to go.
