France breathalyser
Do you still need to carry with you a breathalyser when riding in France?

Breathalyser never was compulsory then law was abandoned.
Don't need spare bulbs.
You do need to carry your docs.
Best advised to wear gloves and carry a hi vis in case of a breakdown

I've a couple of breathalysers left over from the first year they were meant to be needed so I take them on holiday with me anyway, handy if you've had a heavy night and want to check before setting off.

Sort of. All apparently required by French law but the laws apparently hadn't been written well so not very clear how they all apply to bikes or non- French bikers or indeed how they can he enforced. at the side of the road. Anyway it was a good thing for as I stuck a spare bulb under the seat and I only went and needed it the other day, although I was in Spain by then. A Hi viz vest was stashed in the tank bag. The rest I didn't bother about.Billy Bananahead wrote:Oops. I'm there now. I know you're having a laugh AW.
