Re: Lake District Weekend!!!
There is also a church that's never locked up near ills water were people go to write there names into a visitors book it's on the same side as Pooley bridge and around the lake as far as it goes and as you hit the twistes going up the hill the church is on the left . Don't forget to write your name date etc if you go ... people been doi g it for years
All things built not bought . The only way is adventure .
Re: Lake District Weekend!!!
Coach road is just up from the side of Ullswater, nice long easy trail with just a hardish part at the Keswick end, usually plenty of walkers and cyclists going along it though so take care.

Interestingly, there's only one lake in the Lake District, Bassenthwaite Lake, all the other bodies of water are 'meres' or 'water'.

Re: Lake District Weekend!!!
I wouldn't go out of your way to do the Kielder track,it's really nothing special in my opinion, done it a few times but if your up visiting Kielder anyway, which is nice by the way then fair enough go for it.If your passing DH8 area or the A68 i could show you a nice run through Slayley Forest if im not busy with other family duties etc.
